  31. This is my first attempt to create an MPEG-animation. The ani-
  32. mation consists of 35 frames, showing the well known Zapruder
  33. footage. For people who are not familiar with this VERY famous
  34. piece of 8mm film: It was filmed on November 22nd, 1963 in 
  35. Dallas, Texas, and shows the assassination of president John F.
  36. Kennedy. 
  37. The frames were grabbed using a VLAB frame grabber (by the way:
  38. the software supplied with the VLAB really SUCKS!) and converted
  39. using ADPro v2.5. Then they were MPEG encoded with Scott Tribbey's
  40. (howdy, Scott!) excellent EasyMPEG utility available from Aminet.

  42. I know it's not a very good quality animation, but that is the
  43. fault of that really dumb piece of software called VLAB Sequencer.
  44. It grabs pictures at an irregular interval and is very motion
  45. sensitive, i.e. motion blurring and striping. Who can tell me how
  46. this can be avoided?
  47. I will try to create some better (and more!) grabs in the future 
  48. to create a smoother animation, but don't wait for it!
